Depois de contar com o apoio de diversas emissoras internacionais, o festival virtual “One World: Together At Home” também ganha sua transmissão na TV brasileira através da Globo e do Multishow, além do meio online com a Globoplay.
O evento acontece no próximo dia 18, a partir das 16h, e será transmitido pela Globo em todas as suas plataformas (TV aberta, TV por assinatura e no digital). O festival é uma iniciativa da ONG Global Citizen em parceria com a Organização Mundial da Saúde (OMS), tem curadoria da cantora Lady Gaga e vai reunir um time de peso da música, além de especialistas em saúde, comediantes, atletas e personalidades internacionais. Músicos de diversas partes do mundo irão se apresentar através de shows online, direto de suas casas.
O evento também homenageia os profissionais de saúde e a própria OMS em sua liderança na luta contra a pandemia de Covid-19. A transmissão internacional terá apresentação de Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel e Stephen Colbert. Já no Brasil, a exibição será comandada por Tiago Leifert.
A transmissão começará simultaneamente no Multishow (e em seu canal no Youtube) e na Globoplay, a partir das 16h. A plataforma da Globoplay estará aberta ao público no Brasil e nos Estados Unidos, e exibirá o pré-show e apresentações de Adam Lambert, Ben Platt, Burna Boy, Cassper Nyovest, Hozier, Juanes, Kesha, Luis Fonsi, Maluma, Matthew McConaughey e Sebastián Yatra.
Na sequência, às 21h, ambos exibem os grandes shows do festival com Billie Eilish, Lizzo, Billie Joe Armstrong, Eddie Vedder, Paul McCartney, Elton John e Stevie Wonder.
A TV Globo exibirá o show completo de duas horas logo após o “Altas Horas”.
